How Blerron came to be

My name is Seb. 24 years old, born and raised in the Achterhoek in a small town.

For a long time I didn't quite know what I wanted, until I rolled into entrepreneurship.

Building something myself, creating something great, actually helping people with a good product. I loved it right away.

The coincidence that became Blerron

At first I sold all sorts of things. Sports gear, pancake pans, you name it.

Until I stumbled, completely by chance, on a portable monitor system on Amazon US. Two screens you could hang on the left and right of your laptop. I thought, this is amazing.

I worked from home a lot and wanted one myself. Importing from the US was ridiculously expensive, so I looked in the Netherlands. It simply wasn't sold anywhere here.

So I started sourcing it myself, tested it, and put the first ten units up for sale.

Sold out within two weeks. That was the sign for me: there's something here.

The first setback

Scaling up went well, until we ran into serious quality issues the connection kept dropping, the thing was heavy and clunky.

To fix that, I started sourcing and assembling the components myself. Pretty good idea, I thought.

Until it turned out I was getting too close to a number of US patents.

As a young entrepreneur without much money, that risk was simply too big.

The reset

So, pull the plug, and start over from scratch.

Found a new supplier and built a new product — that became the Blerron Flex.

From there we developed further into the Flex Pro, with single-cable connection. And added the Flow: a standalone screen with an adjustable stand.

There were some kinks to work out early on there too, but by now we have a lineup we're proud of and that gets a lot of positive feedback.

From sole proprietor to team

For a while I did everything myself: customer service, marketing, even shipping from home.

At some point that just wasn't sustainable anymore. These days I work with a partner for warehousing and shipping, and a partner for customer service.

We're still growing slowly. A real challenge, but above all a lot of fun, and we keep working on new products.

What we stand for

Honest, nice and down-to-earth. We believe in our products ourselves, which is why we make it easy to try them out.

Fast delivery and a 50-day return guarantee. Not happy with it? Send it back and you simply get your money back. That simple.

These days everything happens online — you see us in an ad, you order on the site, and the human contact disappears.

That's exactly what we want to keep in. If our customer service can't sort something out, I'm personally there to help. That's how we want to keep it, even as we grow.

In short

Have doubts? Feel free to reach out and we'll help you personally, or just go ahead and order. You'll have 50 days to try it out — money back if it's not for you.

And if anything comes up, we're easy to reach. Me included, as the owner.
